Oldest age for UPT
There appears to be a wealth of knowledge on this forum regarding military flying. That being said I was just wondering what the oldest age anyone has heard of for someone to attend UPT while going the guard route. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Currently max age is 33 without requiring a waiver. But don't sweat it if you're older. There's a waiver for everything! Good luck.

Air Guard- 30 or whatever they can get a waiver for....
Army- must not have passed their 33rd birthday at the time of enlistment
Navy- not have passed their 32nd birthday upon commissioning
Coast Guard- not have passed their 35th birthday
Hope that helps a little.

That's a lot better than back in 1979. I think it was 26 or 27 for the Air Force back then. We had a former Army Warrant Officer in my ROTC unit. The guy had logged 500 hours Combat time in a Cobra in Vietnam and been shot down twice. He was 6 months over the age limit and the Air Force wouldn't waive it. Wound up being a missile officer.
