Default ATP written currency?

This may be a dumb question but I am unfamiliar with the civil aviation regs so figured I would as here.

I was able to barely are the mins a few years ago to get my atp written complete and then hustle to get to 1500 hours and got my atp on 2016.

I am applying to and I see a box to check that I have an "unrestricted ATP certificate" which I do so I click yes. Below is another box asking if I have a "current ATP written"

Does the later box matter? Do you have to keep a current ATP test on file? I have my old one still but it is several years old now.

Just a little confused and any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
