I know the AFPC Herk dude personally, and I recently left AD for Trad ANG. Just for my own info, I asked him what the chances would be for me to get back to AD if the ANG didn't work for me. He pretty much laughed at me, and I'm supposed to be his friend! With all the VSP and FSB going around, I don't think there's any chance.

Trouser did you Palace Chase or did you get out when your commitment was up? If you did PC, did knowing the AFPC Herk guy help you out any?

I got the same response from the active duty 130 guy...funny there is another thread just as long talking about a looming active duty pilot shortage! The stupid thing is they are still pushing through UPT classes at max capacity, and they don't want an experienced MP.
