Default Nice A-6 Tribute

Found this video on YouTube, it's a tribute to the A-6 Intruder that was retired in 1997. The A-6 is the reason that I want to be a Navy pilot. 13 years old, the book in my back pocket was: "Flight of the Intruder", and loved looking at all my dads pics of when he was Aircrew on the A-3D, and a mechanic on the A-6. Too bad I wasn't born earlier to be able to fly this airplane, but check it out. INTRUDERS FOREVER!

The A-3 and the EA-6 were the loudest! (when you slept below them on the cat <g>) Even Hornets and Toms were quiter in burner.

1000 hour A-6 guy myself. Loved almost every minute of it (could have done without some of the nights behind the ship). Best jet there ever was for crew teamwork.

Cool video, although the music left a little to be desired...
