Navy-Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program
I am curious if anyone has used or knows much about the Navy's Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program?
Specifically I am interested in Non-prior service. How selective is it? They pay you while you finish college and then you go to OCS?

It's the mother of all good deals. You get a pay check in college, no ROTC shenanigans, and you accrue leave and time in service, and you apply for your individual program. i.e. pilot, SWO, nuke, etc. So you'll know where you're headed, no guessing games or competing like the boat school guys or ROTC mids. Show up to OCS potentially with 2-3 years already, could get commissioned as an O-1E if you were accepted early enough. That's a huge pay bump for quite a few years until the pay scales even out.
The down side is if you can't get through OCS or something else catastrophic, you owe the Navy 2 years of service as an undesignated sailor. Shouldn't be a huge concern, but I did see one guy from my OCS time wind up on that path.
It's for current college students, only way you'll know how competitive it is, is to apply. My info may be dated.
