Default New Sim Instructor Position at UPT Bases

Hello all,
1st time to post on the forum. Just wondering if anyone has any info on the new Sim instructor positions at UPT Bases.
1. Hiring process?
2. Salary/Benefits?
3. Hours?
4. Ability to work being in the reserves in the schedule?

Many thanks

Go to USAJOBS - The Federal Government's Official Jobs Site. Best of luck, brother. Just saw some Tyndall jobs pop up as well, if you have fighter stink. GS-13 there vs GS-12 at the UPT bases.

They did a mass hire last summer. (Switched from contractor positions to GS positions). Don't know if/when they will hire again. Don't know the figures, but I imagine 95% of the contractors were re-hired. There were probably a few morts due to about a $15K pay cut for working for Uncle Sam vice the contractor...

If you don't have AETC instructor stink, good luck. 5000 hours, 14 years instructor with over 2000 hours instructor not good enough....didn't even get a telephone interview....Made the alternate list, but never got a call....

Thanks for the info. I have AETC stink on me, T-38C FAIP. Guess I'll keep looking for an opening.
