Slightly funny... A bunch of fighter guys (present co included) trying to figure out the helo gig. Either way, I'm sure it was quite a ride home for the 2 pilots who left their ride. I'm sure the SEALs weren't giving them any flak... :)

This is the ONLY story / article that I have seen that mentions Chinooks being involved in the raid AND that the flight left the compound and flew directly to the USS Carl Vinson.

I read that somewhere else a few days back. I forget where. I figured that is how they got everybody out after they lost the 60.

You could have piled all those guys in a 60 but it would not have been a fun ride.
