Default # of sorties in the T-1 program?

Unfortunately I never kept 781's from the T-1 program and I'm trying to find out how many sorties were prescribed for purposes of filling out an application (military conversion - .3 per sortie). I have a summary of flight time, but nothing that shows the number of sorties. If I remember correctly, it was around 35 sorties, but if there's anyone out there currently in the program, just came out of the program, an IP, former IP, etc... who can give me a more accurate number, I'd appreciate it.

From my pilot training logbook I had 61 T-1 sorties for about 130 hrs. (Also had 14 Simulators.) Sim time not included but 0.3 conversion included. Makes sense with the average flight about 1.8 - 2.0 hrs.

Thanks alot! That's a lot more sorties than I thought it was. Looks like I would have been jipping myself some time.

Don't forget to take out the "other" time. Which is about half of what I listed above.

Doesn't the number of T-1 rides depend on the number of times you hooked your nav check? Add one extra ride for me...

That is true. But hey, that means more flight time!

Are you including your SUPT time because you need it for your Total Time? Most of the airlines seem to want SUPT hours just lumped into "student time" -- it doesn't count for PIC time at least.

Naturally it is a couple hundred hours of multi and turbine if you need that.

Just for "gee whiz" comparison, on the T-38 side of the house I had 101 sorties worth 115 hours (without any conversion time).

Well, I have my end of course printouts from both phases, which lists my exact flight time. I needed the sorties for the airline conversion (.3 per sortie). I logged all my UPT time as "dual/turbine/multiengine" time except for the solo time, which I logged as PIC and of course I left out the "other" time.

I've heard of some guys including the "other time" in their TT. Not sure how kosher that is, but my records don't have any breakdowns. They just give me one lump number for "student time". Any estimates on how much other time is included there? I guessed about 80 hours.

Probably around there. Most of the airline apps I've seen don't provide a option for other time and it looks a little strange when your total time is more than PIC/Instructor+SIC+Dual. Look at it this way. Would an airline pilot riding the jump seat commuting from one base to another add that time to their total time (with intent on using their total time to apply to another company??). Probably not.
