Both are great and you can win with either one. Something to consider is if you plan on getting out after this next assignment. It is a little more difficult to network when you are overseas, especially when going to Guard/Reserve or Airline interviews. However, the Ramstein assignment will be more dynamic. You will go to far more places in Africa, Europe, and Eastern Europe. Look at the EUCOM map and that is where you will be going. My first assignment was C-21s at Stuttgart and it spoiled me rotten.
Good luck in your decision. You will win either way.

As others have said, this is a clear win/win.
I had to make a similar decision recently and had a friend explain it this way.
A G-5 rating costs you $26,000 in the real world. A 737 rating costs you $7,000. Which would you rather pay for out of pocket?
I'll let the USAF pay for my G-5 type, thank you very much.
As far as Centcom support in Tampa, I highly doubt you'll spend more than a night in Kabul or Al Udeid. It's possible that there are 179s to the CAOC for a DV planner or 90 days to ISAF HQ ISO ISAF/CC (disclaimer--I'm not stationed at MacDill).
And as others have said, you have those Jill Kelly parties...
Disclaimer: I made the costs of type ratings up and probably exaggerated them. Anyone with real world experience please feel free to update/correct.

I will.
Any detail you want me to pass along so he knows who I'm passing it on from?
Haven't seen him in person lately...but he is always on the Outlook IM.
Btw - I was serious earlier.
That would be a very tough decision for me.
I'd much rather live and travel through Europe - and it will be something that the kids will love and cherish as they grow older adn the experiences they share there will last a life time and make them more 'wordly' of course.
As for the airplane though - I'd much rather fly a G-V than a 737; but that is a very personal choice. I like the corporate airplanes more and always wanted to fly them when I got out of the military. But things change.....
now I'm extremely happy with my flying and it doesn't involve international
