Military to Airlines - with some baggage
I'm retiring from the military in three years. I currently have a little over 2200 hours, in the T-45 and F/A-18. I should get another 400-500 hours PIC time prior to my retirement. I have my commercial and anticipate getting an ATP as well as take the mil-instructor competency test soon.
My first choice post-retirement is an airline gig. My baggage though is in 1994, prior to active duty, I got a DUI. I was 21.
So, am I sh*t out of luck for an airline job with that baggage?
I have two speeding tickets, one in '92 and one in '97.
Appreciate any responses!

You will be scrutinized extra closely, and had better be able to articulate your post-DUI "come-to-Jesus" epiphany regarding alcohol. Of course you no longer drink (wink, wink).
But if that and a couple ancient tickets are the extent of it I think you should be able to get hired. You will be at a slight disadvantage compared to similar applicants, but the fact that you overcame the DUI WRT the military will do a lot to convince interviewers that it's water under the bridge.
