Go to Crew Pilot Training. I just finished there. Great setup. Not there to bust you.

Just got my ATP at All ATP's in arlington. I flew a seminole 10 years ago and then went military. All ATP's has the 2 flight, 4 flight, or more flight options. I did the 2 day 2 flight option and paid $2,700, and $500 for examiner fee. All ATP's gives you supplement with a lot of the oral questions on the seminole. The instructors are very young, but it worked out. My examiner was David Graben and he is the way to go. He is very big picture and is 77 years old, but sharp as a tack…..If you go down there I would NOT recommend the examiner with initials BK.

As a customer, can you choose your examiner?

Any good suggestions for military friendly ATP practicals in NE US? Heard of a guy near Boston but have been unable to contact him. Anyone know if he is still doing evaluations, and if so could you PM his contact info? Finished the written before deadline, but still need to find time to take practical. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm also someone interested in a place to get my ATP practical done. Unfortunately I'm one of the guys that had a bad experience at a school that didn't vet its DE selection so I get to try it again somewhere and explain my first ATP checkride for the rest of my life. Wasn't looking for a pay to play ATP initially, but now I just want to get the ticket in my wallet. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

i'd go to a place with a smaller airport that has instrument approaches needed to complete... don't need the stress of a busy airport in an aircraft you arent 100% comfortable in. I did mine out in SAT with All ATPs and used Stinson airport as my holding, non-prec, and circle... 3 rides and a check... easy. Just saying...

There is a gentleman out of Richmond who I used for my milcomp CFI. He seemed pretty down to earth and is a former Marine. My plan is to use him when I get my FW ATP. He did tell me he was going to conduct two C-130 driver ATP checks later that day and he gets a lot of military business which can't hurt. Granted he probably had to fail them... ...because they were Air Force pukes and all. :D

Any mil friendly ones in the South Jersey/Philly area?

Any contact info for the POC in Richmond? It is a reasonable driving distance for me, and I am sure a Marine would not hold not hold my being in the AF against me too much.

I appreciate the inputs above. I am not looking to spend a lot of $ to master an aircraft I most likely will never fly again following the ATP check. I just want to make sure I am prepped for success. Any POC contact info will be appreciated. PM me if you have info you don't want broadcast to all. Thanks.
