Thanks. I'll just upload a word doc.

Does anybody happen to know if by adding a new resume and/or cover letter on your JetBlue account page, does that new document get added to your previously submitted application? Or is that just a place to store your document? Same question with respect to uploading letters of rec...will they get "attached" to an existing application, or do you need to start from scratch and do a new app? Thanks...

In the 'majors' thread, there's a post saying they need to be uploaded because it's now part of the selection process. That goes counter to what I thought I heard. If that is the case, it's almost impossible to upload a file that's been scanned and keep it under 150 KB (the limit per document on the JB app site).

Thoughts?

Were you at the Vets in Blue? I could have sworn that I heard it the same way as you....In that the LORs are going to carry weight in the process AFTER the Interview. They covered a lot of information, and I could have misheard.

I had a lot of fun at the event, and thought was great for JetBlue to put the event on. I was impressed with how quick the VP of talent could look at a resume, and pull out the key points and give critiques. For me, I don't know a single JetBlue pilot, and that's going to be my toughest issue

I was there and like you, I could have sworn they said it wasn't important until after you're selected for an interview. There was a lot of information being given and I easily could have missed it or misunderstood it. I've asked a couple of friends of mine who were there also and they heard it the way I did.

I thought it was a great event also, but a little short changed on the "networking" portion. A couple of people I talked to (attendees) agreed the last portion felt a little like trying out to be a contestant on the bachelorette.

The good news is that unlike the bachelorette, they can choose more than one.

But yes, I saw many other military guys who all looked equally socially awkward in that setting.

Anybody get the Dec 11 interview slot?

UPTme 11-30-2013 07:34 PM

No, but a buddy of mine apparently got a rose...

I heard as well they only come into play when the assign points of some sort to the interview.

Resurrecting this thread! Is anyone going to the next event in March?

Deke999999 02-23-2014 11:47 AM

I'll be down there in a few weeks. Was already scheduled for WIA, so the timing was a nice surprise.
