Default Tricare Fees

Just read that the Pentagon is looking at imposing new "annual enrollment fees" on Medicare eligible Tricare For LIfe participants. These fees will be indexed and will be based on the amount of your retirement check. Not only do you have to enroll in Medicare Part B and potentially pay a Medicare surcharge based on your income to get Tricare For Life, but now you may have to pay another income based fee to get Tricare For Life. Who didn't see this coming?

And they wonder why pilots aren't taking the bonus to stay in. 2 decades away from your family and this is their reward.
