Default TERA and LPRP vs RRORP

Any RRORP guys still out there that were able to apply for TERA? AFPC and ARPC retirements said I couldn't apply because as a Retired Reserve Recalled to Active Duty I am still categorized as a reservist and thus ineligible for the active duty force shaping programs (even though I declared sanctuary last year). Crazy thing is a friend in my unit who was recalled under the LPRP (and also in sanctuary) just got approved for TERA (both of us are 11U). Sweet deal for him but why the difference in eligibility?

As an RRORP, you ARE a Retiree already, right?
If so, I'm confused. What is it you are trying to do?

Default TERA and LPRP vs RRORP

Huggy- I am retired reserve, recalled to active duty and currently in sanctuary for an active duty retirement in mid-2015. I'm not interested in leaving early and returning to retired reserve status (and waiting til age 60 for a paycheck). I was trying to use TERA to get the active duty retirement a year early. The LPRP and RRORP programs are very similar but there must be some subtle difference. I'm just curious if there are any retired reservists out there that were recalled under RRORP who got picked up for TERA and an early active duty ret.

Ah,... copy.
I'm RRORP, but was always an active duty guy, so I'm no help.
Every RRORP I know was/is active duty, not Reserve.
