If you have a 737 type, you won't have to take the FAA type ride all over again. You WILL have to do that airline's initial qual training, but your LOE won't be a full-up FAA type rating check ride. Subtle difference, but if you have the type already, the eval at the end is a little less stressful.

True statement. Just had this exact thing happen to me last week. I did however have 4000hrs on type.
