Anybody get WIA to pay for 737 type?

With the 73 type in hand, if you do go to the legacies and get 73's..you are just going to have to do the type over again during their UA,AA,DAL training... If you are a current mil pilot I'd focus on the legacies. They are mopping us up right now. Not getting a call so far may have something to do with availability date... I got the call one month from separation.

If you have a 737 type, you won't have to take the FAA type ride all over again. You WILL have to do that airline's initial qual training, but your LOE won't be a full-up FAA type rating check ride. Subtle difference, but if you have the type already, the eval at the end is a little less stressful.
