^^^Thanks, I kinda suspected that a lot depends on who you talk to. Sort of like dealing with Military bureaucracy.

Posted on another thread but had to call more than 4 of them years ago with the same issue using the same reg reference and got 4 different answers. Local FSDO wouldn't budge when I came back with a workable solution so I got permission to fly our military learjet 2 hours away to the examiner who made it happen.

They really should drop the S from FsDO......Nothing consistent about those offices from region to region. It's a joke we have to abide by their "opinion".
