Question Pay scale question

Hey guys!

I have a question on pay scale. And if this is the wrong place for this, I apologize.

My question is, on the pay scale for Continental it lists columns for SN, LN, and wide. What do SN, and LN stand for?

Thanks for your help!

More questions about the payscales:

In the pay calculator, what is the purpose of the percentage box?

What is the typical or average number of bid periods to use?

(This is a repost. I mistakenly posted this in the majors section already.)

The percentage box can be used to calculate income since most pilots don't fly only guarantee. So, if the avg pilot makes 15% above guarantee, plug 115% into the calculator.

Most airlines use 12 bid periods (one each month), and a handful use 13 bid periods.

Thumbs up

Thanks James!

On the Continental page there is a listing of aircraft for each type (sn, ln) but it did not say what the letters meant. I only saw the listings after I made this post. That makes sense. The only thing I could think of was Short Nose/Long Nose *laughs* I knew that wasn't right!!
