Hi,
I had a question for someone good with taxes. I did some of my training at a part 61 school, and have all invoices. Can I claim this kind of expense. I am a student currently finishing my degree in aviation at a part 141 school.

I did some work for H&R Block between flying jobs but I'm not an expert. But I'd say no because this isn't about keeping your current job, it's qualifying for a better job. Check these 2 links, the IRS does have a "Lifetime Learning Credit" but it is $2000 per year. You'd need a 1099-T from an eligible institution.
