L'il J.Seinfeld - I agree with your post entirely but could you focus on all the negatives at Big Brown for a little bit longer? Please?
You know, night flying, death before retirement, igloo-crashpads in ANC, no more free leather chaps, I mean jackets, etc, etc...
I'm trying to help a few buds of mine to get an interview; the fewer applicants the higher the odds. I think Freightpuppy knows where I’m coming from.
Sooo anyways, I don’t see why anyone would want to apply at Big Brown anytime soon, or any cargo airline for that matter … with gas prices going up and all … the passenger market is where you want to be!
Once United and Delta transform into UnDelted and Northwest and Continental form NorthCon they’ll become unbeatable. Especially once they get their new paint schemes makeover – it always boost revenue! Amazing, passengers seem to be willing to pay more for their tickets when the airplanes look pretty!
That’s why all Fedex and UPS drivers are doomed; the purple and the brown paint schemes can’t possibly compete with the legacy airlines’ artistic color designs! I think Greenspan used to call it “paint inflation”!
On top of that, once DHL buys out both Fedex and UPS (c’mon everyone knows it’s inevitable) and we become Deutsche FedUps we’ll have to wear purple pants, brown jackets and yellow hats. Doesn’t that make you dizzy?
Did I mention that Anchorage is very expensive to live in? You get paid in US $ but have to pay your bills in Euros €!

. I asked for mine and found out the fright wig, nose and shoes are reserved for management.
