Default Life Insurance question

Those of you that purchase life ins. , who do you use? I can get a little bit through the co , but only 5x annual salary. First year FO = 125K. I'm also getting some term life on the side but I'm getting bent over and it's getting sore. 300K for me 200K for the wife at 185.00 a month. We're both
38yrs non tobacco users.

Your thoughts greatly appreciated

Unless you checked-off every one of the following boxes:

smoker / pilot / rampant heroin shooter / motorcycle stunt man / gay porn actor / Iraq security contractor

then $185/month for a half million coverage sounds real steep to me.

For healthy, age 30ish - $30-$40 per month for a 20-year term ($500,000) is more like it.

SelectQuote.com

I am 38, non-smoker and I pay $29/mo for $500k.

My underwriter ended up being ING.

Fly safe.

A pilot buddy of mine owns a brokerage. I think it's crosslandfinancial.com

I have term life through AOPA (underwriter Minnesota Life). 500k for $45/month. I am healthy, nonsmoker and in my 20s. I was hesitant to go with regular life insurance because I didn't know which other companies covered people with jobs like us. (I guess technically the insurance industry considers flying a high risk job.)

I'm 23, non-smoker, and have a VUL policy with 250k coverage for $100/mo ($60 is the actual premium) through Western Reserve.

Get term life insurance not whole or cash value. Term rates are at some at some of the lowest rates they have been. Try Zander Insurance.

$1 mil for me, $500k for the wife. Early thirties, non-smokers.

$1,000 per year. Insurer: AIG.

Maybe that's why they needed a bailout...
