Top-notch degree, yes. Years of flying with the company, no. Most likely no flying at all.

That is why so many people are going for the business management degrees. Personally, I think education is the best investment one can have. No Browntail and the 1.7 GPA

It depends on how you're counting:

Just cold cash? Or cash and other benefits (which may include 401K contributions, life insurance, health care, days off, etc.).

Are you looking for the largest amount of money you can make in a single year? Or the largest amount of money you're likely to make in the course of a 20-year career? I suspect the answer would be quite different, if you account for the different probabilities of being furloughed, differing work hours, and differing wages in the various "sectors."

I think APC has some comparison charts, don't they?

Default what sector makes the most money

I'm on the corporate side and the pay has gone up considerably. When the airlines were hiring in the 90's it kept guys out of the corporate world so the companies had to pay up to keep employees. Then came NetJets and they were sucking up alot of people as well. Things are still rising on the corporate side and it's not uncommon for guys to be making 140k plus bonus and bene's to fly 12 days a month on a G4/G5. Something to condsider....

Chief Pilots in these operations doing 250K and up.
