Default I am so cheap

I am 25 and I still live with my parents because of flight training. I recently purchased a 2002 Camry fully loaded love it. I am so cheap I drove my mom's 1997 camry for 6 years all through college, but I felt like I should buy a car since I have a full-time job. But now the 97 Camry is for sale! And I am seriously thinking about getting rid of my car and purchasing the old ride. I am sure my parents would give me a really good deal. This means I could fly a little bit more often and not have to worry about a dreaded car payment! Thoughts are appreciated.

Have you thought about selling your 2002 to your Mom, and just asking her if you can borrow the 1997? I hate flying with cheapskates.

She has a car and has no need for the old one. This is why I think they would cut me a really good deal on it.

Shoot yeah buy that car - why not go cheaper. I drive a 99 Honda and plan on taking it to 200,000 miles and haven't had a car payment in 8 years. Good luck with your training.
