Your quote sir, now who is delusional?

Again, you are welcome to bring up any facts you may have, or you may continue to avoid all facts as you have done so far.

It is amazing that you have not come up with a single fact to bolster your argument in several pages, we are starting to think you don't have any facts, because you certainly don't have any argument worthy of mention.

You might try stating your premise clearly first, then supporting it with facts, this would take you above the level of a mere noisemaker.

You might try this title: "Why I think the opinion of a Jello salesman is meaningful."

I think you are going to find life difficult if you rely on pure opinion as the basis for any point you are trying to make.

I have not put forth an argument. You are assuming I have, speculating that I have, suggesting that I have.... but for a man so hell-bent on facts, you are certainly relying heavily on perception. So, please enlighten me and identify the argument your perceive to have been presented by me.

Don't think about how I may find life. That's just silly and irrelevant. That's like me saying... I think you are going to find life difficult finding an argument with there is none. See? See how silly and futile it is to make such a comment? Your life doesn't concern me. This is not a personal conversation.

Flutter, if you can ever manage to wean yourself off of the simple pudding pop philosophy, you may want to check out the real facts: indexed, footnoted, and easy to read: http://gunfacts.info/pdfs/gun-facts/...6.0-screen.pdf

Since you are deathly afraid of taking a stance, this might help you. Have a nice day.

Ahh.. relieved you have finally seen the light. Correct, I have not taken a stance.

Now, in the future, do not speculate on one's stance. You carry on and on about facts, yet you get swept away in speculation and assumption. Your emotions get the best of you.

Just the facts.

Wow, this thread would make a great introduction to logical fallacies for a class on critical thinking:

Ad hominem: Attack the man, not the argument

You forgot: Reductum ad Pudding Pop- quoting a jello salesman as a valid argument, and then failing miserably to defend it and eventually denouncing it and pretendending it really did not represent an opinion or argument of the poster.

Todd, your points might be valid, but there was never any argument to support what was just an opinion completely devoid of fact.

Even Flutter finally had to admit this, I was hoping he would try to support the opinion he posted, but he couldn't do anything but deny it.

I think cowardice is the word that fits best here.

I presented Cosby's remarks, not as your opponent, but for the sake of argument to test the validity of your stance. This technique is often referred to as devil's advocate. I simply wrote "Cosby weighs in.." That's all I said.

But your heavy emotional attatchment to the obviously sensitive issue of gun control distracted you and led you down the lowly road of personal attacks, misrepresentations, loaded questions, and so on... as toad1200 pointed out, and you conceded.

Making assumptions and speculating on my beliefs is not consistent with demanding an argument based solely on facts.

I always enjoy the humor here, however the unintentional humor is often the best.

Default Some people buy too much gun

Here,s a short video on what not to do.
Guns dont hurt people. People hurt people. - YouTube
As this video shows if your going to buy a gun ,buy one that you can handle.
I remember an individual calling their rifle a gun and a certain movie scene flashed through my mind and I could,nt help but smile .
