I was recently told that I could write off my training contract, any truth to that?

Be sure to tell us what they reject. Maybe ask how in the world we're supposed to know. I've never seen, "aviation/transportation CPA" in the phone book.
Job training in your current profession is OK far as I know. So are supplies and equipment.
Any real CPA want to chime in?
