Congrats Netjets! 30 Globals and 50 CL350s
Just read this below on AIN Online. Congrats! I assume the total number includes airframes in Europe (NJE).
Which fleet works harder these days - the Global or the CL350 fleet? How many pilots now per fleet?
NetJets Receives 50th Challenger 350, 30th Global
Fractional provider NetJets recently took delivery of its 30th Global 5000/6000 and 50th Challenger 350 from Bombardier Aerospace, the company announced this week. “The Global 5000/6000 and the Challenger 350…meet our owners’ and our own high standards for performance and safety, and offer custom enhancements for well appointed travel,” said NetJets executive vice president of sales and marketing Pat Gallagher. “We are proud to have Globals and Challengers in our fleet, and we’re excited to celebrate these milestone deliveries with Bombardier.”
The company introduced the super-midsize Challenger to its fleet in July 2014 and has since reported doubling in demand among its owners for the airplane. In fact, demand for this model at NetJets has resulted in a waitlist since the first delivery.
The Global series has been equally well received by share customers, NetJets said, adding that it maintains a “leadership position in the large-cabin segment among all other operators.” Both the Global 5000 and 6000 types entered NetJets’ fleet in late 2012 and represent nearly a quarter of the company’s 125 large-cabin jets.
To date, NetJets’ Challenger 350 fleet has logged nearly 70,000 flight hours, while its Globals have accumulated nearly 67,000 flight hours. The longest flight in one of its Global 6000s was a 6,055-nm trip from Manila, Philippines, to San Fransicso, NetJets told AIN.

I'm on the 350....all the passengers seem to be really enthusiastic about NetJet's version. It seems to be a plane that does all things well, but for my butt, it can fly way too long on a tank of gas!
I suspect the 350 will be the largest fleet eventually.

A Newhire will only be awarded the CL-350 after all current non-seat locked pilots have had a chance to bid it. To my knowledge the most junior CL-350 pilot was hired in the first half of 2008. We do not fly the legacy.

I just left the 350. I absolutely love the plane, but I would hardly call getting a bid to it an "award"....its an ass kicker. It will wear you out.
