Actually i don't know the rate.... all I read about SWA is how their FO's are making $250+ a year.... I assumed it was straight time or very little scheduling enhancement. It appears to make $250k you'd have to work the system pretty good, or give up days off..

I was wrong about going to NetJets. I fell into the false narrative that NJA has carried for over a decade. I came, I learned, I made a choice. Only took me two years. It only took like 40% of new hires that have left, less than a year. Oh and it has also taken guys 15 years and in the left seat to learn and leave. Don’t get it twisted one but. NJA has zero prestige, neither do the airlines.
Well enjoy the rest of your non prestigious career. Some of us will still view the job as somewhat prestigious and a desirable job that many people look up to.

Thank god I don't have to fly with your know-it-all ass

My buddy at WN on year two barely cracked $100k.

The rate is easily found. I misunderstood you and thought you worked for WN. Probably the majority of FOs on the top of the stack easily make 250K+. My priority is days off and in long blocks. If I was more flexible and wanted to work just a little more I would be able to crush the numbers I have been pulling. Most guys are not as rigid as me. Either way, certainly not a ****ing contest. I'm just one non typical example.

Thanks..
It wouldn't surprise me. At recurrent ground school the VP of Flight Ops is asking our guys to recommend pilots. But they're still turning down at least some of the applicants. The interview process is geared a lot more towards customer service than flying it seems. Get a job as the Concierge at a 5 star hotel and that'll boost your chances

Another constraint on hiring is FSI Instructor availability. They're trying to get pilots down to just 1 sim ride before checkride during recurrent. FSI can't keep Instructors. Initials take a lot of instructor time.

Must be more of that "prestige" kingairfun is talking about...

You can drop below min and maybe even drop to zero at WN as far as I know. If you work min guarantee at year 2 pay you will make more than 100k. So if somebody drops lots of trips for QOL, that would explain the pay.

You would have to work hard at giving away trips to do that.
