Don't you guys have a mandatory show time for airlines regardless of KCM? At Flex it is 90 mins regardless.

Yep. Just had dinner with one the other night. Brown loves NetJets pilots as well.... just helped another guy get hired who starts class next month. We see the value in having a pilot with the safety record combined with the absolutely @$$ Whooping schedule they fly.

NetJets will continue to hemorrhage their top quality pilots because they know their worth at other places.

SWA is sucking NJA guys up left and right. I don’t think it’s on accident either. NJA Pilots are great pilots overall of course, but I think it’s very smart on their part to swoop guys from NJA that may lack turbine PIC time, lock them into a long upgrade at SWA and they may not leave to Delta. SWA is a great company but that wasn’t stopping rockstar military pilots from bailing when DAL and AAL called.

One hour is the min report time time for an airline, but at larger airports they really try to give you 90-120 minutes. It was a concern with KCM that they'd try to shorten show times at larger airports to the min 1 hour. Many major hubs an hour isn't going to cut it unless you have airline status or TSA Pre-Check. We have the right to check a bag at the counter, wait in the normal security line just like everyone else. When scheduling got cute and cut show times to avoid paying overtime some pilots starting missing their airline flights. (1st day overtime is paid with show before 0800).

It’s so nice not having to act like a 12 year old at work and worrying about that. “Please, beat me, and beat me hard, because I’ll get a little more pay out of it.” No wonder 19 a month a bailing.

Patently false.

KCM was the single best QOL improvement at NJ since Part 91K.

Thanks for hooking him up amigo. Spent a part of the day yesterday acquainting him with the history of our least favorite person. He was taken aback but eternally grateful to you.
