2 weeks for INDOC, minimum 5 days off, about 23 days for aircraft initial (more or less depending on the fleet), minimum 5 days off, OE is usually two 7 days tours (some fleets are backed up on OE). I hope this helps.

I have a NetJets Web interview next week. It says that in addition to some HR questions, there will be some approach plate questions and some other Tech questions. Anyone know what type of questions get asked? Thanks.

I can only attest to what I’ve been told by others that have interviewed in last year.
RNP questions. Know GPS based plates and what everything means. MAP, MSA based on what, that kind of stuff. Climb gradient questions on SIDS and such. Not too hard, The HR guys STILL hold the most weight on who they hire, so impress them and you are on your way. |

And HandyHansell is right about HR, they assume all applicants can fly OK, they're looking for customer service skills. If you were ever a concierge at a 5 star hotel you're in  The Pilots who make hiring decisions are looking at what spending a 7 day tour with you would be like. So basically don't be an ass, have some "tell me about a time when" stuff on customer service to tell them about or about a time when you had a conflict with another crewmember and how you handled it. Also, the way we were taught the owner is treated like they own 100% of the jet when they're on it. So if doing a transcon TEB to LAX and the owner looks out the window and sees Kansas City and says "lets drop in there and eat some steak" then you do that as long as you don't violate any FAR's or NJA FOM/AOM. For example, one time we did an inflight divert to rescue a pax who's Citation X cracked a windshield and did a high dive into Springfield, IL. They were going to Telluride but by the time we got to Springfield we couldn't make Telluride before dark so we were flight planned to Montrose. During the flight the owner came up and asked if we could possibly go to Telluride to save him the 90 minute drive. We apologized and just told him Telluride was closed after dark (not 100% true but close). Would have been an FOM violation. Good luck! :) |

If you get to come in you should expect a lot of people looking at you for your demeanor and appearance. I interviewed with Bobo and he was all about "this is a very dynamic job that changes by the hour, are you up for having a 3 hour leg added as you think your headed to a hotel for the night" |
Thanks for the information, I do appreciate it.

If it helps, I started sims/initial in Oct of 18, finished and had three weeks off before I started IOE. Finished IOE in two 7/7 tours.

What aircraft types are newhires being offered these days? Still a lot of Phenom and XLS slots? What’s the typical allocation these days?
