Default NetJets Growth

Get those resumes ready.

We’d love to see you.

THE FLEET // The numbers presented to the committee project a continued growth trajectory for the next decade. Currently, NetJets’s U.S. fleet is comprised of 441 aircraft, and management expects the fleet to grow to 458 by year's end. At the close of 2029, NetJets anticipates a total U.S. fleet size 600-plus aircraft, a net increase of approximately 150 airframes at an average net growth rate of approximately 15 aircraft each year. This rate is calculated based on net deliveries minus planned disposals.

For historical perspective, NetJets reached a fleet peak size of 526 aircraft in mid-2009 and a low of 394 aircraft in the spring of 2013.

Yeah, problem is we’re so late to the party that the last dance may be playing out. Let’s hope all that recession proof planning actually works!

It looks great on paper right now, but let’s not fail to mention there is ZERO progress right now on ramping up the hiring. 5 a month is still the norm. In the mean time, most applicants will get swept up into 121 or the competition......

Can owners request a pilot not be a crew member on their flights?

Probably. They’d need a good reason to do so. Which means you’d have a good reason to clean up your act

From the looks of it, APC could provide several reasons and in this day and age of how companies view liability it wouldn’t take much.

I’ve never seen a better reason for another IBI sooner than later. I think it’s a well known fact by many that what happened a year ago was a positive thing and that the only thing that can make better, better is more better.

This fleet growth plus attrition should equal 175-200 pilot hires a year minimum for the next 10 years.

Of course those predictions are never exempt from market changes, force majure, acts of God, etc etc...

But isn’t it a positive trend?
