holy grail of pilot jobs AT THE MOMENT. there I corrected for you. It’s all timing. I am sure in 2010 those furloughed UPS pilots didn’t think so.

You can make all the comments you want, barring a short period of time of “just because I can furlough to spite you” time, the facts speak for themselves.

There is no such thing as a holy grail job. There are jobs that are better than others.

I had a quick look at rankings from a wide range of international sources by country based on freedom, GDP, heaths systems, obesity, drug addiction, violent crime, higher education, obesity, happiness, suicide rates and much more. The US is not the number one in any(!) of these rankings. Doesn't mean it's a bad country. It does have its major flaws though and is far from perfect. Being able to see and admit this does not mean one isn't a patriot. It just means one isn't an idiot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_freedom_indices https://worldpopulationreview.com/co...e-in-the-world https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ion_attainment https://www.worldometers.info/gdp/gdp-per-capita/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...of_opiates_use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._homicide_rate https://worldpopulationreview.com/co...tes-by-country https://ourworldindata.org/illicit-drug-use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_...ppiness_Report https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where-to-be-born_Index https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...y_obesity_rate oh, and before anyone objects to my use of wikipedia. I've been receiving mixed information on future classes. Some say they're starting up again soon, others say NJ is still offering unpaid leave. which is it?
The only information I have been able to confirm is that those in the pool will remain there until the dust settles, and will not need to re-interview. |

Even lots of pilots vote for staunch anti union politicians and instead of taking this COVID pandemic even remotely seriously, we have pilots who don't believe in masks and want you to drink fish tank cleaner because the orange muppet said so.
Dinesh D’Souza articles hits upon many of those elements in this article What's Great About AmericaOther bullet points:
I ask you if the US isn’t the most desirable which country is? Do they have persons fighting to come to their country in the numbers the US has? If not, why not? Cheers and good luck in your aviation career. OBTW, you can thank those old American Wright Brothers for this profession. |

Let’s also add how Budweiser and all the global breweries absolutely destroy the quality of a beer when they acquire it, I’m still in mourning for Rolling Rock...LOL

Apologies for the tread drift, but as this is about NetJets class dates and they're aren't any a beer discussion is more than appropriate! |

I believe humility, and grace leavening blind patriotism is the best way forward, I love my country , Marine infantry vet here, but acknowledge it’s flaws, the current upheavals show that the status quo isn’t acceptable to many going forward, and we also have elections to remedy all that going forward, flying long haul cargo throughout the planet 1st , 2nd, and 3rd world was an eye opener as to how 80% of this planet lives, we all have to do a better job going forward, globally , about taking care of each other, and getting along, our work, and it’s daunting is cut out for us. Less hate, more love, is a start. Not talking left, or right here, just in general. We are ALL in this together.Cheers.

I just wish people would STOP saying "we're all in this together." We're NOT. It is very clear that certain elements in American society are not at all interested in unity, forgiveness, positive change, or real social justice. They only seek to destroy the United States as a representative, constitutional republic.
Thread derail complete. Netjets job applicants: Sadly, I don't believe we will be hiring until at least early 2021. Keep trying, buena suerte. |

Bolton probably had it right when he said the Union probably won't survive another term.
