Default Met any NJE crews lately?

I was wondering: With up to fifteen NJE aircraft and crew temporarily operting in the US over this last holiday season to help with the aparantly very high demand at NJA, have you bumped into any NJE guys and maybe had time for a chat? I'm not talking about the usual occasional NJE Global that comes across but the fifteen or so Latitudes, Challenger 350s and Falcons that have been flying between the States and Caribbean islands mostly.

I talked to a Latitude crew in BOS last week. They were just going to get a rental to drive around and enjoy their 36 hours off (required weekly by their agreement). I hope they had a good time.

Ran into a crew in MIA doing a trip to the islands for us. Nice folks. They were happy to help out.

I know they brought over 350’s and Latitudes. I don’t know of any Falcons. I’m not even sure if NJE has any Falcons. NJUS got rid of all of theirs.

NJE guy here. Yes, we still have some Falcons and some of them have been your side of the Atlantic recently. I'm on the Latitude and have also been over. Great experience. Bumped into a couple of NJA crews. Great guys. Really enjoyed it.

Thanks for helping us out. We’re being told we’ll pay the favor back this summer. Looking forward to that opportunity.

Had no idea we still had Falcons on the NJE side. Always something to learn here.

Would be nice but are NJA allowed to fly pax point to point intra EU? NJE can only fly pax from or to airports outside the USA, customs stops excluded. Cabotage rules. Maybe you could do UK and other non-EU countries to Europe and back.

Yes we fly Intra Europe. When I was in large cabin we would fly to Europe on a NJUS account and then fly NJE trips around Europe.

You guys have done the same for us in large cabin such as flying a NJE customer to the US and then flying NJUS customer back to Europe.

Ok, but taking a customer into or out of the US is not the same as domestic US flying. We are definitely not allowed to do to domestic US with pax unlesss it's a customs stop for example. So I thought the same would apply to you guys within the EU. Remember not every European country is in the Eu..Maybe it's not a level playing field, though. Will try to find out.

We do have to adhere to cabotage rules in Europe if an EU citizen is on board. Ferry flights or all US pax on board, no worries. The French and the Germans seemed to be the most strict about enforcement. England never got worked up about it even when they were still part of that experiment in globalism.
