The phone interview was pretty straight forward, maybe 20 minutes: Why Netjets? What was your toughest flight? When did you go above and beyond for customer service? What does safety mean to you? Have you applied to other places? And then the typical regulatory...convictions, failures, etc.

Tell them you only applied to Netjets, they’ve always been your dream job and if you don’t get it you’ll reapply in 6mos. A friend of mine just got the tbnt and believes it’s because he answered that he’s applied a bunch of places since he’s getting furloughed.

I answered honestly that NetJets was the fist company I reached out to when I began my job search because this is where I want to be, but that I was indeed applying to other places because I have already given my present employer notice that I would be leaving in June, and being unemployed is not an option...have to pay the mortgage. The interviewer understood.

I’d also look at your own skills. The training at NJ isn’t setup like a regional. It’s ~8 sims and a type ride. Initial isn’t AQP. You do all the maneuvers/emergency and approaches on your flight check. It’s all third party instructors too. They use flight safety; but it’s not a FSI course. It’s the NetJets way, through the eyes of instructors who don’t fly for NetJets. People make it through fine, but people washout also.
Initial isn't AQP? Their website specifically says they the only frac that is AQP....interesting

FSI training is good. Training failures can happen to anyone but it would take some hard work and determination to wash out of FSI initial. I don't know of anyone who washed out but I know a few checkrides busts and they were all brain farts of comical proportions.

When getting NJA training in jets I was already typed in, it was the full course for training. But the checkride was a recurrent rather than the full monty. Rather reasonable. And as much as I am SO glad to be not at NutJets any more, I will say that the training was very good.
