As you're hinting at, everyone has an agenda and at the end of the day I don't think anyone knows for sure what will happen next at NJA. I'm sure some things could be done better and some elements of the initiatives of both Union and EMT have had positive results but at the end of the day I don't think anyone (including their CEO) knows for sure what the picture will look like a year from now. I do not believe there to be any deliberate sinister plans by their EMT based on what I know, however, genuinely failing at their objectives resulting in another furlough could certainly be the case. Let's hope that's not the case.

I do like the Challenger 300, georgous machine, but it will be out of my reach. That thing is gonna go pretty senior

I'm a senior F/O on the Gulfstream fleet, I'm hoping to move to the left seat as soon as things start rolling again (IF things start rolling again).... That means Phenom 300 for me, which is fine with me.

obviously not getting furlough is my main objective right now

Push button and go - right
I'd like to try my hand at one of those.
As for me - there is a chance that I'm being moved into the L60 myself.
I stiff armed it for as long as I thought prudent, but it looks to be a question of moving or sitting around more while others are trained and now is the time for me to cement my new found knowledge, not sit on the sidelines. Your area will grow considerably smaller in the Phenom 300 and mine will grow considerably larger so we might still have that chance to meet on the road sometime. I still owe you a drink for the help offered.
Good luck in the meantime UCLA.

Woe is me. You lost your job and so did I, along with millions of other people in this country. I went out and found a better job instead of feeling sorry for myself, complaining about it and blaming others.

I'm typed in, and fly both the Phenom 100 and 300 single pilot.

Really fun toys! Solo jet time is as good as it gets without asking Uncle Sam for the keys to his jets.

Good for you Alice, I must not have the credentials to find gainful employment. I blame those that are at fault. I'll complain any time I see fit. Now, sit down and shut up.

I'll echo that even if you DO have to ask the Uncle for the keys
Maybe if I get the time I'll be able to get a tour of one down there with EAS at KDAL sometime.

KAF, that is not accurate and you should know it. What you refer to was a "what if", not a forecast. It was an explanation why the bylaws were written a certain way. Either you did not read the whole thing or you just like to make misleading posts. Either way, untrue.
