"The question is - why would you want to? I can't force myself to partake of the "Buddy Holly" experience."
Buddy Holly died in a Bonanza....
Is there a point somewhere in your statement?

Yes JUG, I have plenty of experience. I was just razzing Cape Air. My best friend flew for them for years. I have nothing against them nor the C-402. I think it would be a great job to have - and I know their pilots are usually highly experienced (I do know of some certain exceptions though). Also, I'm not scared of small planes since the C-210P is probably my favorite airplane.

Sorry to dig this one up but.....
Any info. on a jumpseater bringing golfclubs. Trying to get to Killington, VT with my sticks at the end of the month and Cape Air to Rutland out of BOS looks like it could work.

I have no idea where they would put them in a 402, though their website says they except them. I'd ship them FedEx.

Check the loads for the flight you want to take. Or I can check for you. If the load is light, we can fit them in the nose (we do all the time BOS-MVY and BOS-ACK). Sports equipment travels standby though so it's always the last thing to be loaded. PM me if you have any more questions.

You would be surprised what can be fit in the nose of a 402. I worked the ramp in PVD for many summers and it wasn't uncommon to have 2-3 sets of golf clubs in addition to the 2-300lbs of other baggage in the nose, a surfboard in the cabin and pets in the aft. But I digress....
