CommutAir updates?

Anything new with CommutAir? How is the staffing now that the 1900's are gone? I haven't heard anything about furloughs which is good, unless the APC profile is not updated..

Not sure if they have had a class since mine last May. But I know they were still "hireing" the whole summer just to have a bunch of maybes ready if they needed to get a new class going following the EWR opening and the attrition from that.
PM me if there's anything you want to know about it as of Oct/08. I should be calling my Sim partner soon to catch up, he'll probably have a fresher picture.

No, Plattsburgh was closed as a station before I even hit the line last year. And it was closed for everything last summer when everything moved to North Olmstead. Some of the senior folks moved to the west side Cleveland Suburbs, Some still commuted from Platt (I forget who picked up Platt service but somone did) And some never lived in Platt in the first place.

Meh....?
It was ok Living at the Domicile. The scheduling was hell on the cercadian (4 days ready reserve no flying, day off, 3 days stand up overnight, then morning day trip.) I spent most of my free time figuring out when I should go to sleep. Also I would have liked to know before I showed up at the plane what the days schedule was so I could plan Lunch, etc... Before I left home.
I know I wasn't into the Idea of Commuting, especialy with the schedule they gave me the week before the Newark Base opened (Plenty of time to sort out accomodations.) But other folks (mostly senior, more $$) were happy doing it.
I'd say if you move to the Domicile it wasn't horrible, but QOL never seemed to be a high priority to the company, they sort of figured you'd sort it out yourself. I will say though that even being in the bottom 10 on seniority I usualy got the days off I asked for, and Swapping wasn't too hard, but you had to do all the math yourself to see if it was leagal before you bothered scheduling.
