Nobody else would look at you with those times or do you have some connection to Commutair?
I had the opportunity to go to republic or AE but I decided to go with the faster upgrade. I have a wife that makes me food, puts a roof over my head, and gives me baths, so money wasn't a major factor. I want to get that PIC time before I'm thirty.

people average about 3 to 3 1/2 year to upgrade at the company. May be less now with the 300's but base your plans on a long term employment. NOT QUICK UPGRADE!

Haha, I was hearing upgrade time there was about 2 years or less. I turned down both eagle and republic to go to commutair. Your upgrade is just around the corner right? Or am I living in upgrade neverneverland.

I believe the longest time to upgrade was 3 to 3 1/2. Average is way less.

It's hard to judge upgrade time at any airline. You cannot predict the future, especially of an airline. Right now I think the people upgrading have been around for about 3-4 years (some are bypassing). New hires from my class just a few months ago that got based in CLE never even sat reserve and are holding a line with 14 days off. With the new planes coming and continued attrition, people are going to keep upgrading and that time is going to keep going down and down. At the current rate, it could go down to as little as a year (scary, I know) or it could just stop right where it is and go up to 5+. Who knows. Always plan for the worst, hope for the best, but really, expect the worst :-D
