Not sure when we had to rent cars en masse to be honest.

I wonder what the insurance people think about the "C172 DH" thing.

Don't get me wrong...if everything checks out I see no reason that it shouldn't be an "option*."

*Option to be used at pilots discretion, cannot be forced upon anyone.

I figured they prolly would fly part 91 and have you bag run to the Bahamas when the Saab is bulked out. Would be cheaper than paying these other operators to send your own bags. "Silver wings 172"

Big Announcement:

Don't "reply all" when *****ing to MM. Lets the whole pilot group know how childish you are.

I had no idea what that dude was trying to say! I must have read his email 3 times. How hard is it to fill out the staffing bid after it was explained in three different emails?

I think the e-mail(s) have answered that question already... Apparently its rocket surgery...

That "dude" got super screwed during last year's staffing bid due to a minor misunderstanding that the Company was unwilling to work with him on. He's a good guy and a damn fine pilot who deserves better than what he got. That said, he pressed the wrong button, so what? I suppose neither of you've ever made a mistake? That's what I thought, so shut it.

Tell me, what exactly is "rocket surgery?" Is that something smart people do?

Emailing every manager, every pilot, and every union rep with an email that makes you sound like a brat is more than an everyday mistake, IMO. And rockets need to be fixed every once in a while!

I only got the email from MM replying to him and everyone else with a copy of his email. Seems to me that MM was the one that accidentally replied to everyone with his email that was not intended to be public. Anyone get an actual reply from him?

Besides, my emails to payroll make his look tame by comparison. :p

Maybe what you say is true, I don't know. But even if he had hit the right button, there was no reason for him to send that email even to just to the intended recipient. It served no purpose besides complaining, and was in no way going to make his situation better. It's the kind of immaturity that is a real problem.
