Yessir. Sadly. Someone posted on these forums that being an airline pilot is now something a person has to be able to afford. And still the forums are full of wannabes.....pilot shortage my foot!!!

Indeed, why let "facts" get in the way.....

Except it is such "useless facts" that give insight to the management and "culture" of a company.

To save your valuable time, here is the FAA press release:
Press Release – FAA Proposes $1.3 Million Civil Penalty for Gulfstream International Airlines

And if reading all six paragraphs is too challenging, here are the highlights:
"The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a $1.3 million civil penalty...
The alleged violations include improper scheduling of flight crew duty time, and the installation of unapproved air conditioner compressors and improperly maintained vent blowers on the airline's fleet..."

I hope the changes are more than just the name, but I confess, I am skeptical.

By the way, what was the bonus?

Thanks.
If it's stated it is a must have. Almost every regional will require the written. It's not that hard, just go do it.
