They really do need CAs bad. I was offered a CA class, but am only a CFI, and have no prior 121 experience. Don't know if that is a good idea...

I think for low time guys new to 121 it's a requirement. So yes first you do a checkride in the sim then a small check flight in the plane.

It is because of the sim that you need a 15% check most sims are good all the way but the 1900 sim is not all that great or new.
CFI Guy I would take it if you are up to it they will let you know if you aren't ready for it but it is a one time jump the line I would take it if I were you. |
