I’m looking to put my application in shortly. Does the company use PBS or line scheduling? Also, would it be possible for me to hold day trips starting out of training?

I know Silver has the flow to Frontier.... But where does silver pilot normally go to? From what I have heard in APC.. Silver pilot can't get a job at Major airline.. I just need some fact checked on this

Silver is the former gulfstream international airways. The product they produced was not highly thought of by major airlines.

I was at Silver Airways and got hired at United about 5 years ago. Though, to be fair, I had prior 121 experience and was hired as a captain off the street. Part 121 turbine time is Part 121 turbine time. Don’t fall for the “it has to be a jet” mentality. That’s BS. The new ATRs they’re getting are just as advanced as any jet out there. And a turboprop is much more challenging to fly than a jet.

There are gulfstream pilots at every major and legacy. There are Silver pilots at every major and legacy. Working at Silver won’t necessarily hold you back, but other things within your control can (e.g., education, GPA, checkride history, driving record, criminal record, etc.).

It is possible to get to a major straight from Silver. You will have to make yourself standout as a applicant. The majority of pilots from Silver end up going the LCC route or going over to an ACMI Carrier before heading to the majors.
