Well I don't care per se. But I am interested because I know him in real life outside of these stupid forums.

They really want you to succeed here if you are willing to put in the effort to study and have a great attitude. I know every regional is hiring and I turned down republic e170 class and Express Jet class for C5 due to there great group of people, great contract and upgrade time i think is the lowest at the moment and I think it will be less than 2 yrs with upgrade classes soon to be starting and new hire classes being filled. I can guarantee that if upgrade and going to the major or legacy is your goal, by coming to C5 you will be one step closer to that goal whereas you can fly a regional jet and sit in the right seat of a shiny jet for 5 plus years and hope for a upgrade. Everyone has different needs when it comes to base preferences and maybe some bases might not work for everyone at C5 but as far as the company itself, its a great place to be with a secure future. I am still fresh from training so if anyone of you have a question please feel to inbox.
PM me if you would just have some questions regarding the training.
Thanks

Quick question for CommutAir guys. Was sitting on a 5am east coast van the other day sipping on my coffee trying to wake up when the oddest thing happened. One of your FOs makes a phone call and asks for a briefing on his route. Who ever was on the other line talked for maybe 3 minutes while the FO sat and acknowledged. The FO then asks about possible TFRs he heard about. What in the world was he doing? TFRs??? I normally mind my own business, but he was making it know to everyone on the van that he was on the phone and it was important. Are you guys required these briefings? Was he talking to dispatch or some sort of Tom Skilling hired by the company?

Maybe he was talking to 1-800-WX-BRIEF about a TFR related flight cancellation?

Our captains are required to get a daily brief from a dispatcher before starting their flying day. Why in the world the FO was calling is beyond me.

Question for you guys (It's been a long time since I've replaced my LuggageWorks rollerboard and flight case):

Does the 200 and/or 300 have a "flight case cutout" like the CRJ 200?
Standard size? If not, recommendations? I'd hate to toss money at it only to go to EFBs down the road. As a commuter I try and bag drag as few items as possible.

Yes it does, fits most all types of flight cases

No flight case hole like the CRJ; it's just a large empty space to the outboard of the seat that could pretty much hold anything.
