Would it help to travel up to Ravn HQ and apply in person?
I have a student looking for that elusive first job with Commercial ASEL/AMEL and 360TT...
Thx

It can’t hurt and would likely help. Other stops should include Ryan Air, Alaska Central Express, and Alaska Seaplanes (Juneau). Those are the only outfits that hire low-timers, as I recall. Did I miss any?

New Yute probably would if you show up in Bethel

Alaska Seaplanes prefers 1000 min, but will sometimes hire at 500 for the sleds. 500 hrs is the minimum for part 135 VFR. All single pilot there. Good people and nice planes if you can get on. Housing in Juneau can be tough.

New Yute just bought 2 207s that I put many hrs on for a now defunct Juneau operator.

Anyone who has applied heard anything back yet? Curious how long they take before selecting people to interview and when class date will be.

Ravn bought all assets from Yute Air. Renfro's now operates "Yute Commuter Service"

The blue AK's get sold or the ones from GST that the state repo'd?
