Any GOOD operators in South Florida?
We're all aware of South Florida's 135 reputation. There has to be a decent operator, can anyone with experience comment or offer some suggestions?

South Florida Part 135 Operators.... What a cliche'.......
But even though South Florida was like a time capsule from the terrible 1990's when it came to awful pilot treatment and pay, I think that the market has forced change there, too.. Even Draconian operators have had to increase pilot pay and QOL just to survive, and decent operators like Executive Airshare and Wheels Up have had to improve their schedules (from 12/3 to 8/6 and 6/3 to 8/6, respectively) stem the hemorrhaging of pilots. Seriously, it was almost a revolving door of pilots leaving due to these schedules. It's not 1993 anymore, and these companies have been forced to step up to the plate. Those shady operators that kept a thick stack of resumes on their desk to remind pilots of how many other pilots wanted their jobs aren't the kind of places that deserve to thrive anyway...
Sorry that I didn't really answer your question, but I think that the pilot shortage has made it to the last bastion of poor pay and poor treatment of pilots... Miami's NW36th Street, or "Corrosion Corner"..... Best of luck finding good for you.. Don't settle, and you will do fine. BTW, I agree with TiredSoul as I work at flyExclusive.... and we are hiring.

Seriously, it's not not too bad....
Actually, it is comparatively reasonable. The pilot from this forum, whose username is Amphibian, is the flyExclusive pilot who helped me get on there. His Wife happens to be an attorney, who looked at his contract, and deemed it to be reasonable. The contract is pro-rated and covers only the price of the PIC type rating that you get: They don't try to jack it up to include the price of your hotels, travel, per diem, etc. like some other places. And at many places, they want you to pay back in full if you leave up to the last day, where ours decreases by 1/12 every month you are there. Personally, I blame operators less than "that" guy, who is at Flight Safety for his/her 5th type rating in a year, having screwed 4 other companies. I don't like training agreements, but I blame him/her....
My contract ended 8 days ago.. I don't regret signing it and I lived up to it.
