I am not with them but I have a ton of friends that are. I have applied three times but my application didn't get through even with internal referrals enough to get noticed. If you can get on, do it.

Whatever questions you might have, I might be able to answer through friends or if I had the same questions I can tell you what I learned.

Yes, please. Can you perhaps share with us your experience with applying in Alaska, where did you go/plan to go, and how many hours do you have?

Thank you!

Yes, please can someone clarify that this - https://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/...5/ravn_connect - is current/up-to-date and what are the chances / hours of people getting hired now?

Thank you!

Yes but good luck at 250, ther are a few but not many. Most seem to be closer to 400, and less than 1000 tend to go SIC 208 but thatís a great way to start flying up here.

Be ready to fly in 600ft ceilings and 2-3 mile vis. If that makes your squirm then Alaska probably isnít for you, icy runways and aircraft icing is regular, and come summer if you miss your landing spot it will shake the snot out of you or send you 80ft in the air. They are long and wide but not nice in most places.

When I was working in AK not to long ago I had 1200TT, all the ratings, and AK experience. RAVN offered me a job but it was for the 207, and I ended up at a different company flying a turbine so I turned it down. If anyone has any questions about AK operators or where they can be hired, how to get hired, etc. Send me a PM Iíd be happy to help.

Ravn Air Group (Hageland, Corvus, PenAir) sent home about 40 pilots yesterday with "temporary layoff" notices. Business has dropped more than 80% as vulnerable villages isolate themselves from the pandemic, and nonessential travel has dried up.
