Jetlinx Floater Position
#2
They pulled me off of my account while our bird was in maintenance, and I floated to different accounts.
It was painful!
31-6=25, so expect 25 days on the road.
30-6=24, so expect 24 days on the road.
It gets even better....don't expect all of your whopping 6 days/month off in a row. Don't even expect them to be at home
Get used to "off" days, maybe 1 at a time, in a hotel room.

Jetlinx was the only operator that was actually hiring during the height of the Covid shutdown. Many out work pilots wouldn’t even go to them. That speaks volumes about the company. They even make “FE” look good…..rofl

flyExclusive pilots and other team Members sat at home with full pay during the beginning of Covid in April of 2020, started flying our tails off in May 2020 when the flood gates opened but much of our competition had shut down, furloughed, or did forced LOA’s, and we were hiring again in June of 2020. Our new hires included UAL, SWA, and other pilots who had taken leave from their airlines, as well as a ton of Express Jet, Skywest, Republic, Trans States, Compass, andPSA furloughees. Now, we are over 90 jets and over 300 pilots.

My experience there a few years ago was unpleasant and it seems to be the gift that just keeps giving. In 25 years of doing this it is the only employer in which my daughter said “daddy, I hate your job”. Personally in todays competitive market I would look elsewhere.
