Wow, the hourly pay over 10 hours per tour got a boost with this contract.. 200 an hour for every hour over 10 hours in each 8 day tour.. close to $100,000 more in just hourly pay, on top of the salary... this will pass for sure. fly two 8 day tours a month and 30 hours each tour thats 200x40 hours = $8000. in hourly pay a month, say you do that 10 months a year, $80,000. additional pay a year.. so that 1st year new hire that hires on tomorrow goes up to $185,000. first year pay and $232,000. after 4 years and thats still as First Officer, and than you still get your nontaxed perdiem on top of that and holiday pay and overtime pay everything over 12 hours a day is 1.5 times daily rate.. the union did alright fighting for fair pay with this CBA
.
A Captain in his 6th year today will be at $216,684. base pay may 1st 2024, increasing annually to $319,128. on may 1st 2029... add flight hourly pay and thats $300,000. now in 2024 and $400,000. in 2029.

I made a mistake, I thought the pilots at fE were cut from the same cloth as netjets pilots, and would demand to be paid as if they were.

You are SADLY mistaken! Saying NJ and FE were cut from the same cloth would be like posting Deltas pay rates in a Spirit forum saying "Spirits new pay rates". FE is definitely a ULCC with NJ being a Major

An example, a newhire FO that starts at NJ 5/1/24 and upgrades to captain at 3 years on 5/1/27 his base pay will be $224,066., if he flys 25 hours in each 8 day tour than add $72,000. ($200. per hour for every hour over 10 hours in each tour), add 3 holidays which are paid at $1,611. each on top of base salary, he has earned $300,000. in his 4th year. Thats without any overtime pay calculated in, or perdiem added in.

If that same 5/1/24 newhire deciides to remain a First Officer and move to a large cabin plane with a flight attendant to serve him meals on the plane, and also move to the 7on 7off schedule to have more time home, his pay on 5/1/27 will be base $122,000. and if he flys the same 25 hours per 7 day tour add the same $72,000. and add those holidays in, he is at $200,000. and also gets two 21 day vacations each year and 12 paid sick days a year on top of the vacation.
