Default VISTA AMERICA

I would like to know more about them, current pay and QOL but before you go telling me to Run and all the negativity there is, please be at least a former (recently, not 5 or more years) or a current employee. Thanks.

They stiffed me on the hotel bill when I went for an interview back in November. Maybe that will give you an indication how they may treat their employees.

1) Complete disregard for pilot input on operational challenges (unlike previous management)
2) Made service changes that no longer allowed transcons, then told customers that "That's what we now provide. If you don't like it, go somewhere else."
3) Moved all pilots from an 8/6 schedule to a 15/13.
4) Essentially did away with vacation.
5) Training was now on scheduled days off, instead of scheduled days on.
6) Fired some excellent management folks that would not go along with changes quietly.

It definitely seemed like they were intentionally trying to run the airline into the ground. Given the continuing legal issues (https://www.ft.com/content/52523044-...b-d23f690fa01a) and questions surrounding Vista Jets financial transactions, and my growing discomfort with new management's handling of known issues, I was uncomfortable with what might be going on behind the scenes. Let's just say the hairs were standing up on the back of my head, and I wasn't going along with 1-6 above.

As much as I love to keep up on Flohr's dirtbaggedness, too bad that acticle is behind a paywall.

I agree with everything in 1-6 above.

Curiosity, since I'm not really interested considering what everyone's saying:
VistaJet Global Express - it appears to be all European based??
Do they ever hire an FAA lincensed USA-living pilots for that airframe??
