Anchorage Medicals - who is the new Dr. Green?
Where are people getting FAA medicals in Anchorage, now that Dr. Green is gone? He was the best! I'm still looking for a new Doctor who is easy to schedule with, and who will give me the impression that he/she won't start nit-picking when having a bad hair day, or is otherwise just feeling ornery.

Never been to Doc Green. I had heard that if you could walk in under your own power, you got your medical I use Petra Illig. She has an office on Spenard Road. Knows alot about how to get medical exemptions and how to work the system.

No, still open in the same building. She just moved to the side into a bigger space. She must be getting more customers. Her door is on the side that faces international. I have used her 3 times now... but not 100% sure about her yet. When ever she ask if there are any lumps or bumps that I would like to talk about, I still say NO!

Dr Jone in anc
Most of the guys I workwith( in anc and lax )with go to Dr. Jones in anc.
He does most of the Jal medicals up there and I ran into an NCA guy I used to fly with in the same squadron at Travis.
The JCAB physical is $280, we get two a year. The company pays one we pay the other. He tosses in a class two for $50 more. He used to be an orthopedic (bone)doc. He was helpful advice wise when I came back after work after wrecking my motorcycle and breaking my elbow.
I see him on my next trip thru anc on the 12th of next month.
Great guy, You will like him. He's always on the crewmembers side and wants to keep you working. He's a pilot too.
His office is on Northern Lights and he's in the book.
