Up to a few months ago I would have said no chance. However there are now quite a few EAS routes flown by BOS based pilots. I'd still say the chances are less than 50/50, but its theoretically possible.

Cape Air just got a new profile put up on airlinepilotcentral.com

It should help answer a lot of your questions.

To each his own, and good luck and best wishes to anyone who gets a job here, but am I reading this right? Nine (9) dollars an hour for new-hire F/O's?! I realize we all start somewhere, but this seems over the top.

I believe the pay is per duty hour (?), not flight hour.

That's correct, pay for the 402 is per duty hour. Pay in the ATR is per flight hour.

I did the math. 9K FO pay works out to about 20K per year, which is certainly not over the top for any FO in this stage of their career.

Do they pay your flight ticket to interview?

smithee6 10-25-2008 04:52 PM

yes they reimburse you... just bring a copy of the flight info and price to the interview and theyll repay you for it...as for the interview...reall laid back... starts with a company overview then a one on one..nothing surprising, just the typical questions... seems like a great place to work!!
