Default Cape Air/JetBlue

What sort of relationship does Cape Air have with jetBlue? I was browsing the Cape website and I see they have some kind of intern/training deal for students that eventually gets an interview at Blue. I know right now things are in the dumper but I'm wondering if JB has picked anyone up directly from Cape Air in the past, either through this program or not? Basically I am looking into Cape as a possibility now that I'm joining the furlough ranks and live in New England, and now I'm curious if there would be a possibility of getting on with Blue directly from Cape. Would they interview people with little or no turbine time? And if so would it be through the bridge program only? Just looking into some options, appreciate any responses!

I think that program is pretty new, so I'm not sure if anyone has been at Cape long enough to take advantage of it.

Yeah, very new. The only guys I've seen who are in that specific gateway program who are guaranteed a JetBlue interview down the line are 150-200 hour ERAU/UND interns.

The program has existed for over a year now.

I think it requires a few years a Cape Air, after a few years teaching at Riddle.

It may have, but it's very new in the context that those who have started in it haven't gotten to the point of even coming back to Cape after their stint as CFIs at their respective schools.

Just FYI, I saw a few Cape Air to Jet Blue bridge program new-hires return to their old CFI job either due to furlough or the immediate need drying up. I'm not privy to all the details though.... but, a few certainly did return back.
